Spoiler Alert! Roslin's "murder" of Loeben is just the start of a much more hard-edged President. Especially in season 2.1; with the admiral and the presidential election. Spoiler Alert! This episode is also the one that I am reminded of at the end of Season 2, when he comes looking for Kara. Sort of what they hint at with Scar -- that Cylons seek personal revege too. Which is also a strongly human trait. |

This was a great episode. We are led to believe that the Cylons are these evil beings that are hellbent on destroying us. This episode, it appears, shows that they truely are like us. It's hard to think of them as being programmed, and having sympathy for them at the same time. Reminds me a lot of A.I. Although they are machines, they appear to be individuals. I don't believe they were programmed that way either, considering Boomer disobeyed orders. Then again, her model could be considered defective. I like it that Roslin was the one who 'killed' Leoben. I never liked her character, and I feel that moment was a huge weakness for her character.
