Both of their expressions are really natural and I think under the circumstances they came out really well. Also, you are right about the color. My photography is low key, meaning that it is useally dark. But your point is taken, and not everyone likes shadows... the other thing, this was a hard shoot, the kids were tired and brynn was there, so they wanted to play. All of thoes pictures, of the 2 year old, were takin wile he was playing. None of them were posed. Karson, the baby, was ready to nurse and go to bed. it was like 7:30 at night when we did these. damn
