Guys! guys!

Don't you see what Google is doing? They're turning it into a Mac vs. PC thing; meanwhile, they're sneaking in there, taking over the Internet while you guys are fighting over which computers are best (which, btw, Linux rules, Windows drools).

:)

I know this isn't a mac thread, but talking about mac games... it?s pretty sad when their phone has more games and more things to do than their really expensive "high" powered computers...

Well...I sit corrected, I had no idea Superbreakout was released.

You know I just wish MS would come out with a commercial with teh same format as the Mac commercials, and the PC is all like "boom...brash...crash....boom"

Mac: Ohwhat are you doing?
PC: Playing games...now stfu.

I'm not sure it's the Mac OS as much as it's the Mac hardware that sucks so much. I can build a PC that runs better than a Mac for like a quarter of the price. Plus, it'll run Vista and Linux...

And if that's a dig against Mac's gaming offerings, you're sorely mistaken. You have to know that Mac's have a bunch of games; like Breakout, Superbreakout, Photoshop.

Google has:
- Chrome: Their very own browser to compete with Firefox and IE (and Safari, I guess). The real point of the browser, though, is to have something that totally supports their free(-ish) apps.

Google Apps include:
- Google Docs: A Microsoft Office killer
- Analytics: An Omniture and Analog killer

So, they're going after search and advertising results, Office apps, and any other Microsoft-related thing.

Awesomes.

Evil!

I wish I would of started this earlier. Google is a people friendly business. They are the poster child of being able to have a HUGE company, and making EVERYBODY happy. Let's watch the elusive animal as it grows from cuteness to beast.

In this episode we see the Google hook up with another successful company, Earthlink. What's interesting is that originally Google went it alone, and planned on getting San Fransisco wired for free. Earthlink is doing it in a couple of cities and is charging the users about $10 a month for it. So with these two hooking up, what does it mean for San Fransisco? What does it mean for the US? One rumor of hundreds about Google is that they want the whole nation to have free wireless service. This doesn't necessarily mean free internet only. It could mean free phone service. They've had their hands in that market too. Now with Google hooking up with one of it's competition, it becomes even more interesting.
