Another question. I don't know if this is a Windows thing, or a software thing. Lets say there is a huge list of drawings in a folder. I am in Autocad, and I select OPEN to open a drawing. It is listed in the middle of the list of drawings in that folder. So now I want to open another one. It will remember the last drawing opened cause it displays it in the entry box, but it no longer highlights that previous entry, nor does it jump to it in the list. When I go to open another drawing, it just shows the list from the beginning. Is there a setting to where it remembers the last search on the list? |

well, it'll just remember the last state it was in when the last window was closed. removing the "each folder's settings" part forces them all to assume the last remembered setting the same.

So it defaults at maximized. Interesting.

You'll want to go to Options > View and uncheck "Remember each folder's view settings", and then maximize that folder window. Then close it. All others should be maximized from that point on.

Hey. I'm looking for the option to where I can make my windows open maximized. Or the option to make certain folders remember to open maximized.

You know, I just wanted to say that the South Park avatars are really cool. No offense to my old avatar that was very well put together by Quade, but South Park characters are definitely more "us". Wish we could find a "Create your Own Simpsons" type avatar. |

It was research for my Brother-in-law. He bought the external Sony DVD thingamajig. I think it came with the Nero you speak of. He said he couldn't get it to copy any DVDs cause of copy protection, so he was looking for another software.

Must have been an older version of DVDXcopy -- mine (only had it briefly) didn't have any skulls on it.BTW, of you're looking for good DVD backup software, I recommend Nero Vision 3 (or Nero vision Express 3). I like it a hellalot more than anything else I've tried, and it's easy to use. Plus, you can strip out previews of other movies from your backup, and all those other scenes at the beginning that you can' FF through or skip. Plus, it squeezes DVD9s down to DVD5s with a really nice quality. I think I have a coupon for it around here somewhere... and for Nero Burning ROM too. Let me know if you're interested... |

Looking for something? Post it here, and someone is bound to find it.There is software that will uncopy-protect DVDs. I can't remember the name of it, but it's logo had a skull on it I think. Anyone know what I'm talking about? |
